Child and Youth Protection Policy
YCoalition International is intolerant of any form of abuse or unacceptable behavior toward children (individuals under the age of 18) and youth (individuals between the age of 18-29) engaging with the organization.
YCoalition operates under a zero-tolerance policy for any form of physical, emotional, economic, or online abuse. It is also against exploitation, neglect, or harm to children and youth. To ensure their safety, the organization designs a policy with utmost sincerity and any form of breach of this policy will result in both physical and technical punishments. These instances should be reported to the designated person, as outlined in YCoalition International Child and Youth protection policy. The person accountable for all reports should be someone unrelated to the incident. In response to such reports, YCoalition will take immediate measures to assess the seriousness of the situation and also ensure the safe of both reporter and victim and provide required resources or facilities. Anti Harassment Policy
YCoalition is committed to providing a safe and respectful environment for all associated with the organization. It upholds loyalty to the UNHCR Policy on Harassment, Sexual Harassment, and Abuse of Authority and stands alongside it. Harassment includes any form of unwanted conduct or gestures which is based on (but not limited to) race, gender, color, religion, age, nationality, disability, or any other personal status. Harassment can be of various kinds, such as verbal, written, physical, or online interactions that might create an intimidating, or offensive environment. Individual who experiences or witnesses harassment should report the designated person or someone responsible for handling harassment reports, who they are comfortable with. The designated person should not be related to the case reported to ensure unbiasedness. In response to the report, YCoalition will take appropriate action and ensure safety for both the victim and witness with proper guidance and resources. Data protection Policy
At YCoalition International, we are committed to maintaining the highest standards of privacy and data protection with utmost sincerity. The policy outlines our principles and practices regarding the collection, use, and protection of personal information. The information is collected for only legitimate purposes related to organizational activities. All the information is used with the consent of the owner for collecting, storing, and processing as outlined in the policy. The personal data will not be shared with any third party without explicit consent unless it is urgently required by law. Any kind of disclosure, alteration, or destruction of the secured information will lead to both technical and physical punishment. Preventing Sexual Exploitation and Abuse Policy
YCoalition International constantly aims for a safe and supportive environment for every party involved. The policy outlines the unwavering stance against any unwelcoming behavior and approach toward addressing and preventing any form of sexual exploitation, abuse, harassment, or misconduct. YCoalition Internation upholds loyalty to the six sections of UNHCR Secretary-General’s Bulletin: Special Measures for Protection from sexual exploitation and sexual abuse and stands alongside. It further commits to supporting victims and survivors in every possible way.
Our dedication to prevention includes creating awareness, cultivating a culture of accountability, and providing comprehensive support. Sexual exploitation and abuse include any form of non-consensual activity, gesture, or behavior. Upon receiving a report, YCoalition promises to perform an immediate investigation and ensure safeguards for both the victim and the reporter. Any kind of breach of the policy with result in disciplinary actions, up to and including termination or legal measures.
