YCoalition International Celebrates International Day of Peace 2023

YCoalition International marked the International Day of Peace 2023 with great fervour at the International Conference Hall on the Daffodil Smart City campus in collaboration with Daffodil International University (DIU).
The theme for this year’s celebration was ‘Actions for Peace: Our Ambition for the #GlobalGoals,’ emphasising the importance of concerted efforts in achieving global peace and sustainable development. The event commenced with a symbolic gesture of peace as white pigeons were released into the sky, setting a tranquil tone for the day’s proceedings.
Prof. Dr. Kudrat-E-Khuda Babu, Head of the Department of Law at DIU, presided over the program. Mrs. Nusrath Fathima Ghazzali, Deputy Chief of Mission, IOM Bangladesh, graced the event as the Chief Guest, delivering a thought-provoking address that highlighted the significance of peace in achieving global goals.

Mr. Foysal Hasan Tanvir, co-founder of YCoalition International, added his presence and made remarks on youth contribution to peacebuilding and different programs of YCoalition that connected more than 5000 youth in the last four years across Bangladesh.

The event brought together a gathering of over 200 law students, dedicated law educators, and representatives from both the International Organization for Migration (IOM) and YCoalition International to collectively observe the International Day of Peace 2023.
